Our History

Founded in 2010 by Julien Fradette Genest, at the time a young entrepreneur of only 23 years old, the company was quickly able to grow into one of the major players in the field of demolition and industrial recycling. Its renowned reputation was rightfully earned by the high quality of work and later allowed the company to broaden the range of services it offered. The company now offers their clients decontamination, revalorization and reconstruction work.

Over the years, several key employees have joined the company, allowing it to consolidate its strong reputation and standing in the field. Today, the management team and staff look back on the evolution of the company with pride and share great optimism for the future.

Our engagement
Démolition des Rivière is proud to support the charitable foundations in its local area. In addition to taking part in several construction projects and working on the buildings of charitable organizations, the company is also engaged financially and makes charitable donations. For example, the company was able to give to Le Grenier, a charity promoting food security in Lévis, Québec, the Foundation Hôtel-Dieu de Lévis and Signes d’Espoir, a charity organization which provides work for people with visual impairments. These are but a few examples of the organizations and charities we support.

Mr. David Bernier becomes general superintendent

March 2015

Mr. Alexandre Bernier is hired

Mr. Alexandre Bernier was hired as a wheel loader operator. Thanks to the company’s ongoing training program, Mr. Bernier was able to evolve to the position of Head of the Surveying Department in 2018.

June 2015

Mr. Pierre- Luc Bussière joins the company

Mr. Pierre- Luc Bussière joins the company. As a specialist in cutting and dismantling concrete constructions, Mr. Bussière has held the position of supervisor ever since.

February 2021

Mr. Maximilien Guillou is hired

Mr. Maximilien Guillou is hired. With 15 years of experience managing large-scale projects, Mr. Guillou holds the position of supervisor for our large-scale projects.

August 2021

Mr. Martin Bélanger is hired

Mr. Martin Bélanger is hired. With 35 years of experience as a demolitions operator, he is responsible for the ongoing professional training of our heavy machinery operators.
